If you do not want to go with a cake mix too. http://www.bhg.com/recipe/pound-cakes/pu ...

They could probably decorate their own way to the sides to think of the pumpkin with candy, chocolate, cereals, etc., if not want your version.

Twice the weight of the cake recipe
(or 2 packages of cake mix, prepared)
Twice each recipe white frosting
(or 2 cans of white icing)
Food coloring
1 Hostess Ho-Ho ®
Similar cakes (snack or roll)

Prepare two cakes in Bundt pans to cool and completely.
Most of the color orange frosting a deep reserve of 1 / 2 cup to be black (or chocolate fudge icing use black).

Place a cake on the head (rounded side down) on a cake plate, frost the top only. Place cake on the second floor down into the surface of the cake first. Frost entire cake with orange frosting, draw lines to simulate with a spatula to a pumpkin.

Put the Ho-Ho ® in the center of the cake surface to the stem. Use black icing to the eyes, nose, mouth, etc., make (or candy, gum, jelly beans, black licorice rope - be creative!)

Make two cakes to touch. P as the front panel. Gel and still put a cake on top. Frost entire cake with orange frosting. You can use a banana to the mother. Frost with green frosting. You can use gummy bears and licorice whips into a jack-o-lantern. I have for several years for Halloween and got lots of compliments on it.

If you are a pleated filter muffin, making two cakes to invest all this, and on the other. Make a spice cake, so it is a kind of darkness. Now the ice is thin enough to rain and the color is orange. Heavy dew on the cake. Put something into the hole, it seems solid. Create some strains of brown marzipan or almond paste or fondant.

Wilton if you're going to tell you exactly how this works, also are selling pumpkin bread, it becomes much easier. Good luck!
